Description

CFCU Community Credit Union (CFCU) is looking for a dedicated team player to fill the position of Support Services Representative. This position is responsible for performing duties related to deposit accounts such as ACH, check inclearing and returns, mobile deposit review, foreign item processing, wire transfers, IRAs, and deceased accounts on a rotating basis. This position reports directly to the Assistant Vice President of Support Services. Please apply here or on our website.

Responsibilities:

  • Responds to member and employee inquiries, researches errors, resolves problems, and explains products and related policies.
  • Reviews daily share draft and ACH reports and processes exception items.
  • Reviews, sets up, and monitors ACH debit origination authorizations.
  • Reviews and processes incoming wires, outgoing corporate wires, ATM deposits, mobile deposits, foreign item deposits, and returns.
  • Verifies and approves all IRA activities performed by frontline staff.
  • Processes deceased account closures.
  • Performs other miscellaneous functions to assist in expediting the flow of work within the department.

Desired skills and experience:

  • 1 to 3 years member/customer service experience in a financial institution. Back office deposit operations experience strongly preferred.
  • Equivalent to a high school education.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with members, vendors and fellow employees
  • Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job.
  • Position requires attentiveness to detail as well as exceptional problem solving and critical thinking skills.
