Description of Position (Minimum Qualifications, KSAs, and/or other Specific Information):


This position is responsible coordinating the Brain and Spinal Cord Injury Program's provider enrollment process.


Coordinates the programs provider enrollment, certification and renewal processes. Maintains program provider policies and procedures and recommends revisions as needed.  Reviews applications for completeness, provides technical assistance to applicants regarding the provider enrollment process and requirements, and tracks applications through the approval process to ensure timely certification of providers.  Monitors provider compliance with required certifications/licensure.  Responsible for provider terminations as necessary.  Adheres to performance standards as specified by program leadership.  Establishes and maintains provider application files and other provider-related files.


Schedules conference calls and meetings for program staff regarding the provider processes.  Takes and distributes minutes of teleconference calls.  Responsible for meeting planning and coordination including mass mailing of meeting notices, development of agendas and materials, meeting packet assembly, onsite assistance and meeting follow-up for program meetings.


As needed, acts as a back-up to the staff assistant/receptionist. Prepares draft responses to correspondence regarding program services, policies and procedures of the program for signature by the appropriate managers. Enters referrals into the Central Registry in the absence of the staff assistant/receptionist.
