Description of Position:

 

This is a professional position located within the Bureau of Preparedness and Response, Administration Section, Procurement Unit.  The position will report directly to the Procurement Unit Manager and is responsible for the procurement of goods and services for the Bureau and ESF8 using MFMP tools and/or a Purchasing Card, in accordance with State and DOH procurement policies and procedures. This position will also work closely with FEMA, DEM, and contractors on FEMA Recovery. This position is also responsible for approving, clearing, and reconciling P-Card charges for the Bureau.

 

Minimum Qualifications, KSAs, and/or other Specific Information:

 

•           Knowledge of the methods of data collection and analysis.

•           Ability to collect, evaluate and analyze data to develop alternative recommendations, solve problems, document work flow and other activities relating to the improvement of operational and management practices.

•           Ability to organize data into logical format for presentation in reports, documents, and other written materials.

•           Ability to conduct fact-finding research.

•           Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques.

•           Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures relating to operational and management analysis activities.

•           Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.

•           Ability to communicate effectively.

•           Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

 

Special Notes or additional information (not required, but may be preferred): 

 

Florida Certified Contract Managers (FCCM) certification is preferred but not required.
