LB&B Associates Inc. is seeking qualified part-time Contractor Instructor Flight Engineers (CIFE) for the P-3C Weapon System training at Naval Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville, Jacksonville, Florida.
Qualifications: A CIFE must be or have been a P-3 Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) qualified Patrol Plane Flight Engineer or have been a simulator flight engineer instructor within the preceding five (5) years. A CIFE must have a minimum of one fleet tour in the P-3 and minimum of one tour as a FRS Flight Engineer Instructor. A CIFE shall have a minimum security clearance level of Secret.
Certifications: A CIFE must successfully complete the P-3 Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) open-book and closed-book exams as well as a simulator procedural evaluation and must annually renew and maintain qualifications with the FRS. The minimum test and procedural evaluation scores will be as established by the FRS. The FRS Fleet NATOPS department will administer the procedural evaluation and the open-book and closed-book exams. The CIFE must demonstrate an understanding of the mission, aircraft operating systems and normal/emergency crew procedures required in the execution of the P-3 aircraft.
