As an Assistant Scientific Project Manager, you will provide support to the Project Manager and perform the following tasks:

  • Coordinating with clients & IMS team to ensure the timely implementation of products & services to meet client requirements, within company policies & procedures
  • Communicating with clients on project status
  • Determining task schedules
  • Tracking budget items and other metrics
  • Participating in scientific meetings and conference calls
  • Developing documentation and training materials
  • Coordinating the resolution of client technical issues
  • Perform other project management-related duties as assigned

Please note this is NOT a laboratory position.

To be eligible for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • PhD in Biological Sciences or a related biomedical field from a U.S. DOE accredited institution
  • 3-6 years of related project management or clinical data professional experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office
  • Demonstrated strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to relay biomedical & other technical information to clients and internal staff in layman terms
  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving & analytical skills
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Excellent attention to detail & organization skills
  • Must be able to multi-task, meet deadlines, & work within a team
  • Knowledge of cancer biology preferred
  • Strong presentation skills preferred
