The ADOS will assist the Director of Sales and Marketing to develop and expand our markets in all areas. You will lead a team of professional sales managers and will assist them in developing new leads, expanding existing accounts and drive sales throughout the entire hotel.
It is imperative that the ADOS understands the overall Washington, DC market - including competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand - in order to position the Hotel appropriately.
Bachelor's degree plus five years' hotel sales experience, with at least one of those years in a leadership role; OR equivalent combination of education/experience.
Proven track record on sourcing and signing new business. This position will have its own book of accounts to service while developing new business for the hotel.
Computer literate in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point, Outlook
Knowledge of Salespro, Micros Opera PMS, Starboard Reports, Lanyon, Sable RFP, GDS will be helpful
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English.
