Commander’s Project

In 1991, America joined 34 coalition countries to turn back Saddam Hussein and his armies attempting to overtake Kuwait. Nearly 700,000 service members fought in the 100-hour war.

293 American men and women lost their lives, 467 wounded in action, yet no memorial exists to these veterans on the National Mall.

Our goal is to raise contributions and see that this memorial is constructed for the veterans who served in this war and their children and grandchildren.
